 Reminders:

- NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Friday January 29th!

- Get outside and be active!
Wednesday, February 3 is this year’s Winter Walk Day.  The goal is to get more Albertans physically active outdoors during the winter.  Just because it is cold outside, it does not mean we can’t be active outdoors.  Most of us already doing this; February 3 is a great time to celebrate it.  It may be as simple as walking to and from school, playing in the snow, taking a walk after dinner, going bird watching, or any of the countless activities we are fortunate to be able to do during the winter.

Our Day:

- Today we took part in Author's chair, and had a chance to share our writing with small groups and the whole class.

- We had a very special virtual presentation by Marty Chan, who talked with us about making our writing interesting! He shared stories with us and made us all laugh! Ask your child what they remembered from Marty Chan!

- Today we finished our measuring project and practicing measuring how tall, how wide, and how heavy our toys were. We were mathematicians!

- During Social Studies, we continued learning all about the prairie, Atlantic, and Arctic regions of Canada! Students had a chance to write about which region they would like to visit and why!

- We said our goodbyes to Ms. Wauthier, as today was her last day with us!
