Reminders:

- Friday is early dismissal beginning at 12:02 pm

- Students were provided with 2 brand new masks in their supplies today. If your child has come home with a different mask this is likely the reason why 

- Please wash masks if possible please send your child with 2 or more masks for the day

-  Please do not send school supplies or toys to school

Welcome to back to School!

We were all so happy to see everyone back at school today! We have embarked on a learning journey together and are getting used to new routines and protocols. The children were AMAZING. Everyone did their very best today! We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and Friday. 

We enjoyed read alouds, creating place cards, playing outiside and engaged in some art activities today. 

We took the time to talk about what we were grateful for today and these were some of our responses:

  Reminders: - This week is Teachers' Convention - there will be NO SCHOOL on Thursday, February 11th and Friday February 12th. - Monday, February 15th is Family Day - NO SCHOOL - we will see you all back at school on Tuesday, February 16th. - we will not be  exchanging valentines this year Highlights from our day: - we had and exciting presentation from Earth Rangers today and learned about animal conservation and how to take care of the earth. REMINDERS Families Helping Families As is our tradition at Eric Harvie School, again this year we are calling on your kindness and generosity to help support a family in need at Christmas.  This year, we will be supporting 10 families at Colonel Fred J. Scott School who may need a little extra help to make Christmas brighter.  While in past years we asked for specific gift donations for individual family members, due to the pandemic, this year will look different.      This year we are asking for monetary donations.  These donations will purchase a variety of gift cards (eg. Walmart, Superstore, Safeway) and small stocking stuffers gifted to each member of the 10 families in a stocking.  Parent Council has generously offered their support by collecting the money via direct deposit and helping purchase the gifts.   Donations can be made via at   ehsestreasurer@gmail.com    (No password required.)  and are welcomed on or before...
