Reminders:

Eric Harvie School raised over 4000.00 last year and even more in previous years.  Let’s reach for that again this year!

If you wish to order school photos, please return the order form to the school by October 9th. You can also submit orders online! If you would like your child to retake their school photos, retakes are scheduled for October 22nd!


There is no school this Friday October 9th or Monday October 12th.


Our Day:

We continued our work on Friendship Journals and interviewed someone new- Ask your child who they learned about today!


While Ms. Wauthier's class went to music, Mr. Kai's class worked on an art project designing winter trees. These trees will be used to teach students about the seasons we are learning about. Last week, the grade 1's and 2's made Fall trees!






In math today, we continued our work on patterns. Students had a chance to build their very own patterns using manipulatives. Take a look at some of the creative patterns we created! Mrs. Campbell's class used beads and wire to make their own patterns.

REMINDERS Families Helping Families As is our tradition at Eric Harvie School, again this year we are calling on your kindness and generosity to help support a family in need at Christmas.  This year, we will be supporting 10 families at Colonel Fred J. Scott School who may need a little extra help to make Christmas brighter.  While in past years we asked for specific gift donations for individual family members, due to the pandemic, this year will look different.      This year we are asking for monetary donations.  These donations will purchase a variety of gift cards (eg. Walmart, Superstore, Safeway) and small stocking stuffers gifted to each member of the 10 families in a stocking.  Parent Council has generously offered their support by collecting the money via direct deposit and helping purchase the gifts.   Donations can be made via at   ehsestreasurer@gmail.com    (No password required.)  and are welcomed on or before...
