MASKS
Now that the weather is colder and we are playing outside during our body breaks, students are finding their masks are very wet by the time they come inside. Please send your child with 1 or 2 extra masks for the day. THANK YOU!
Jacket Racket 2020
We need your help! We are currently collecting winter wear for Jacket Racket as we have for the past 4 years. Due to Covid restrictions, we ask that you drop off new or gently used items in the collection bins outside the front door of the school. Jacket Racket will accept coats, hats, mittens/gloves, boots, etc. in children's and adult sizes. Please ensure the items are cleaned and in good condition.
Thank you so much for thinking of others during this challenging time!
Our Day:
We began our day with Friendship Journals where we practiced our writing and learned new things about some of the friends in our class. Then, after enjoying our snack, we continued our addition and subtraction practice with a new math game called "Roll Them & Add Them"! We are getting pretty good a quickly adding numbers using our counting on strategy. We ended our day with our Gratitude Circle.
Here are some of the things we were grateful for:
"I'm grateful that my friend is a new group leader and I'm grateful for our past leaders"
"I'm grateful that we returned to school!"
"I'm grateful that Mittens the tarantula is here for a visit"
"I'm grateful for my family, teachers, and friends"
Have a wonderful weekend!
