MASKS
Now that the weather is colder and we are playing outside during our body breaks, students are finding their masks are very wet by the time they come inside. Please send your child with 1 or 2 extra masks for the day. THANK YOU!
Jacket Racket 2020
We need your help! We are currently collecting winter wear for Jacket Racket as we have for the past 4 years. Due to Covid restrictions, we ask that you drop off new or gently used items in the collection bins outside the front door of the school. Jacket Racket will accept coats, hats, mittens/gloves, boots, etc. in children's and adult sizes. Please ensure the items are cleaned and in good condition.
Thank you so much for thinking of others during this challenging time!
Our Day:
The beginning of our week was a wonderful day. We began with a continuation of the formal writing piece that we had started last week. We're writing about our very best day ever. Ask you child about the day that they're writing about!
Today we also started our reading groups! Each reading group is also getting a list of words from their current books to learn. This is all part of the next step in our Literacy learning!
To end the day, we learned more about the natural resources that are found on the prairies and continued work on addition and subtraction.
See you all tomorrow!
