Tuesday, June 1st

Reminders:

Final Library Book Exchange will be WEDNESDAY this week (tomorrow). Sorry for the short notice. It will be your last opportunity to check out new books for the school year.

We are going for a coulee walk Thursday morning. It will be hot! Please remember sunscreen, a hat and a water bottle.

Friday is a PD day. There will be no school on Friday, June 4th.

Highlights from our day:

Mrs. Campbell's class has been practicing Reader's Theatre stories this week. Students are working in small groups, reading parts of a story as an assigned character. They are also making masks to wear for when they share their stories with the class sometime next week.

In Coulee school groups are finishing up their final writing pieces. The biologists are working on their how to be books, the environmentalists are working on their persuasive writing good copies, and the historians are writing a perspective piece of writing from the past. We are so impressed with everyone's hard work, creativity and focus!

Students also worked on learning about the importance of being able to read each other's feelings and how that can help make friendships stronger and build friendship skills. They created some finger paint art to show different feelings.

Classes are enjoying music and PE this week. Check out the music and PE blogs for more information.
