Reminder:
We will be walking to the Coulee tomorrow! Please ensure your child comes to school with proper footwear and clothing, suitable for the weather. As well, your child will need a water bottle and snack.
Our Day:
As routine, we started our day with friendship journals. This week's focus has been on capitalization and using punctuation to end our sentences! Ask your child about who they wrote about today!
In Phys Ed today, students ran around the school field to help prepare themselves for the Terry Fox run. Students also continued practicing their tossing skills.
All classes worked on their heart maps, drawing, and writing the four most important things in their life. Many students wrote about family, friends, and their school community.
The students in Mrs. Campbell's class began using blocks to create their names. Students explored how to assign value to the letters in thier name.
Mr. Kai and Ms. Wauthier's classes worked on the different ways we can represent numbers. Many students challenged themselves to represent large numbers, even up to 32!
We had a great Thursday!
