"How you make others feel says a lot about who you are. Leave them with a smile, a hug and a kind thought." - Unknown

Reminders:

- Our Christmas flowers and poinsettia fundraiser begins tomorrow! We will be sending home information about this.

- Our digital book fair will run from November 16th - 27th. Watch for details about this!

Our Day:

Today we took part in Roots of Empathy and talked about how babies show different emotions. We learned that babies show their feelings through their facial expressions rather than words. Ask your child about what else they learned about babies showing emotions!

We worked on our Friendship Journals today and learned new things about a classmate! During this time, we practiced using capital letters and punctuation marks. Students also practiced their 'kid writing' during this time. Ask your child who they learned about today!

While Ms. Wauthier's class had music, Mr. Kai's class worked on a guided drawing of Wilber from Charlotte's web.

We also started learning about addition and practiced using 'counting on' as a strategy to help us. We learned how to play addition baseball! Students had so much fun striking out and playing against each other.

See you tomorrow!
