Mrs. Campbell's Class:

- We looked closely at the events that took place in Charolotte's Web. We drew pictures of what had happened in Chapter 11 and 12, and made predictions about what might happen next in the book!


- We continued learning about Inuit communities began some Inukshuk art!





Ms. Wauthier & Mr. Kai's classes:

- We continued our writing about Wilbur and worked on finding evidence in the book for the words we used to describe him!





- We continued learning about Inuit communities and mapped out where they are located on the map of Canada.

- We were taught by Ms. Pham in math today and continued practising sorting shapes based on attributes. Ask your child which attributes we focused on today!

- We ended our day with gratitude time. Here are some things we were grateful for:

  • I'm grateful that Mrs. Bowles is back.
  • I'm grateful for my friends in the class.
  • I'm grateful for my family.
  • I'm grateful that my elf came back.

REMINDERS Families Helping Families As is our tradition at Eric Harvie School, again this year we are calling on your kindness and generosity to help support a family in need at Christmas.  This year, we will be supporting 10 families at Colonel Fred J. Scott School who may need a little extra help to make Christmas brighter.  While in past years we asked for specific gift donations for individual family members, due to the pandemic, this year will look different.      This year we are asking for monetary donations.  These donations will purchase a variety of gift cards (eg. Walmart, Superstore, Safeway) and small stocking stuffers gifted to each member of the 10 families in a stocking.  Parent Council has generously offered their support by collecting the money via direct deposit and helping purchase the gifts.   Donations can be made via at   ehsestreasurer@gmail.com    (No password required.)  and are welcomed on or before...
