Mrs. Campbells Class:

- We started our Inukshuk art and added details to our drawings! We have been learning all about the Inuit community and meaning of Inukshuks.

- We have repurposed our fall mobiles and now they represent a Christmas tree!

- We had Roots of Empathy and talked all about the teething process for babies. We talked about the different emotions we feel when we lose teeth and discussed how babies might feel when growing teeth.

- Lastly, we worked on a variety of literacy centres. Ask your child what they did during literacy centres today!

Ms. Wauthier and Mr. Kai's classes:

- We began our day with Roots of  Empathy and talked all about the teething process for babies. We talked about the different emotions we feel when we lose teeth and discussed how babies might feel when growing teeth.

- In literacy, we talked about the different words we would use to describe Wilbur in our book Charlotte's Web. Ask your child the word they used to describe Wilbur, and why!

- Mrs. Bowles read our class a wonderful Christmas story today. She has created a holiday book advent calendar for us to work through during the month of December!

- In math today, we continued our exploration of shapes and began sorting shapes based on certain criteria. Ask your child the different ways they sorted their shapes today!
