• Eric Harvie's next Peace Assembly is about feeling peaceful within ourselves.  We have been talking about finding a place where we feel good.  We are hoping to get a few pictures to add to our Peace Assembly.  Please note that if you send a picture it will be in the video attached to our school Youtube page.  What I am looking for: your child in a place that makes them feel good, feel at peace. It does not have to be a recent picture, it can be one from the past.  If you would like to participate, please email your photo to Jennele Coulson at jabaine@cbe.ab.ca.

  • Please be mindful of the staggered entrance times for your child each day. Many students are arriving before their entrance times, and it becomes difficult to maintain distancing when this happens. See below for your child's entrance time each morning.
8:15 am ( Last Name A-G)
8:20 am (Last Name H-N)
8:25 am (Last Name O-Z)
  • Please bring the work you produced while learning on-line to school. This may be on loose-leaf paper, in your visual journal, or in the half-size journal.
  • Our entrance and exit doors have changed. Students are to use the 2E doors (the tarmac) at the beginning and ending of the day.
  • We are reminding students to bring their water bottles home for regular washing
OUR DAY
  • Mrs. Campbell's class caught up on some magnet experiments today. We learned about magnetic fields and had the chance to observe how iron filings react to a magnet. We also tested the strength of different magnets
  • Mrs. Ashworth shared a slideshow and information about her hometown in Newfoundland. This supplemented our learning about the Atlantic region of Canada
  • In writing today Mr. Kai and Ms. Wauthier/Mrs. Bowles class looked at revising and editing. They looked at leaving appropriate finger spaces and using proper conventions (capital letters/periods).
