We are going on a coulee walk tomorrow morning. Please dress for the weather. 

Please remember to return school materials back to school. 

We are back in school – and that means our Fun Lunches and Snacks resume too! Our June ‘Fun Foods’ will be:

June 3: SNACK ‘Out of Chaos Cookies’ 

June 17: SNACK ‘The Saucy Bread Company’

Highlights from our day:

Mrs. Campbell's class is starting Reader's theatre during our literacy block! Students are excited to work in small groups and read their parts. Reader's theatre helps to improve reading fluency and is a fun way to read in a group!

In coulee school we finished up our research on Jack Rabbits, completed a guided drawing, labeled its body and read a book called, How To Be. Students in Mrs. Campbell's group (Mr. Kai's students) acted out how to be different animals based on the animals presented in the read aloud. 

Mrs. Bowles' (Campbell students) coulee school group completed some water colour paintings based on the coulee in the past. 

Mr. Kai's group (Bowles' students) worked on their rough draft writing about protecting green spaces. 

In math students are continuing to work on addition and subtraction skills including problem solving. 

We are working on basketball skills in PE!
