"When snow falls, nature listens."     - Antoinette van Kleef

Our Day:

Mr. Kai and Ms. Wauthier's classes started the day by looking closely at our artifacts from the coulee walk. Each student examined their artifact and thought deeply about the senses that the artifact would experience in the Coulee.

Mrs. Campbell's class played a math game today which included rolling a dice and drawing a unique jack-o-lantern. Ask your child how to play!

Our classes had lots of fun playing in the fluffy snow during our body breaks!

One of the grade 3/4 pods put together a virtual Peace Assembly for the school to watch. We watched the different ways that they practiced being peaceful at school, in the coulee, and in our neighbourhood. We had so much fun seeing our fellow school mates on the screen!

We finished the day with gratitude time, sharing the things we are most grateful for this week. Here are some things we heard:

- "I'm grateful that we went on a coulee walk yesterday"
- "I'm grateful for my dog, Ruby"
- "I'm grateful for being able to come to school again"

Have a wonderful weekend!
