 Updates:

• On Thursday we are going to the coulee with Sa Ko Ko To to learn about the seasons. Sa Ko Ko To is a Blackfoot Elder who we often have visit us at school to share his knowledge and oral storytelling
• It is really important that your child have proper winter clothing and footwear for our coulee walk on Thursday. Mrs. Campbell's class will be going in the morning and Mr. Kai and Ms. Wauthier's classes will be going in the afternoon
• Please also pack an extra snack that your child can take with them in their pocket for the walk (i.e. a granola bar)

Our day:

• We continued on with Charlotte's Web today and read chapter 2. We learned all about how Fern took care of her baby pig, Wilbur. We all thought he was very cute!
  
• Mrs. Campbell's class did some Halloween art today. We learned about positive and negative space when painting. We used a stencil then sponge painted all around it. We were left with a black silhouette surrounded by the painted negative space.

• 
• Mrs. Wauthier's class started work on their Britto pumpkins - inspired by pop artist Romero Britto while Mr. Kai's class went to music today. You can check out the music blog here: https://ehsmusic.blogspot.com/

• Mr. Kai and Ms. Wauthier's class worked on creating increasing patterns in math today. Mrs. Campbell's class also worked on increasing patterns and used blocks to show their thinking.
