"Silently, like thoughts that come and go, the snowflakes fall, each one a gem." - William Hamilton Gibson

Reminders:

- Picture re-take is tomorrow!

- We will be walking to the Coulee tomorrow, so please have your child dressed for the cold weather. We will be walking to the Coulee in the afternoon.

Our Day:

- Our classes have started Roots of Empathy, learning about what empathy is, and developing emotional literacy skills.

- Students also had the opportunity to do some free writing today using their ‘kid writing’. Students wrote about all kinds of things including their weekend plans, their favourite movies, and some stories about monsters!

- To celebrate National Take Me Outside Day, our Phys. Ed classes braved the cold and played some snowy soccer. Students stayed warm by running around!

- While Ms. Wauthier’s class went to music, Mr. Kai’s class created unique pumpkin art, inspired by an artist named Romero Britto. Take a look at the music blog here: https://ehsmusic.blogspot.com/

- We continued our work learning about communities. Students have been learning about the different communities we are a part of.
