Reminders:

  •  Mrs. Campbell's class:  please bring a wooden or plastic toy to school that can fit in your backpack for our measuring project. If you forget, that's ok - we can find something at school for you to use. 
  • Library book exchange will be on Thursday this week
  • NO SCHOOL on Friday, January 29th


Our Day:

Literacy: We took a look at our 5 finger planning sheet and expanded our ideas into sentences. We were focusing on adding details and using triple scoop words. We also had time to read either in small reading groups or we practiced read to self. Students also completed some word family activities. 

Math: Ms. Wauthier/Mrs. Bowles and Mr. Kai's class read Measuring Penny and continued their measuring project. Mrs. Campbell is starting her tomorrow.

Art: Mrs. Campbell's class created Maude Lewis inspired mixed media paintings of the Atlantic Coast. Maude Lewis is a Canadian artist from Nova Scotia. 

Music: Mr. Kai's class had music with Mrs. Coulson. You can check out the music blog here: https://ehsmusic.blogspot.com/

Science: We finished creating our magnetic toys, and shared them with classmates. We were able to tell and show how they worked. 

PE - We are continuing to work on our volleyball skills.

  Reminders:   If you're students have an unreturned library books, please make sure they make their way back to school.  We're going on a coulee walk on Thursday! Be prepared.  We will also be hosting a virtual talent show in the last week of school so if you have talent submit a video.  We ask that videos not be longer than a minute, if they are I will be editing them shorter.  A talent can be anything that you are great at so dig deep! Work has been posted in order to assist children who are missing school for an extended period of time due to illness or quarantine. The work posted is NOT daily homework.
